The Honourable Susan Lang
The Honourable Susan Lang served as a judge of the Court of Appeal for Ontario from 2004 until 2013. She was a judge of the Superior Court from 1989 to 2004 and Toronto Regional Senior Judge from 1996 to 1999. In addition, Justice Lang served as President of both the Canadian and Ontario Superior Court Judges’ Associations. Susan Lang was educated in Sault Ste. Marie and in Toronto as well as at Queen’s University and Osgoode Hall Law School. She practised primarily in the areas of family, civil and administrative law in Toronto prior to her appointment to the bench. Susan Lang continues as a Senior Fellow of Massey College at the University of Toronto.
